Saint Patrick's day

Hello and happy St. Patrick's Day .

Today my post has to be about Saint Patrick's Day. What do you know about it? If you're Portuguese, I suppose you don't know much or nothing at all. Well, it's time to find out.

See the presentation and if you want to find out more, just follow the links on the bibliography page.
Good readings.

'For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way-
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day. '

My favoutite season

Hello.

Today my post is about our favourite seasons.

If you'd like to listen to this text, please scroll down to the end of the page.

There are four seasons in western Europe: spring, summer, autumn and winter. I like all of them for different reasons.

In spring, I like going for long walks in the country with my family. The fields are full of yellow, orange , red and purple flowers, it’s lovely; the air is so fresh and floral!

In summer, the evenings are warm and we can go out for a walk.

I love the colours that autumn brings – yellow, brown, reddish leaves. I also like the smell of fresh rain and wet soil.
In winter, there’s a lot of rain. No problem . With bad weather I enjoy staying at home reading and listening to music, or watching a good film.

My favourite season? Well, I suppose it’s spring. It’s warm, but not hot; the scenery is beautiful and it smells really sweet!
